April is here, and with that comes the opportunity to reflect on another incredible month at Superior Recruitment Group’s successes in March. Read on to catch up on all of our highlights.
March brought with it a momentous occasion: our fifth birthday! We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and grateful for the continued support of our clients, partners, and fantastic team. We celebrated with a fantastic party in our office with a DJ, a Saxophonist, industry-themed balloons, cake, and a lot of Indian cuisine! Here’s to many more years of success!
We’re thrilled to announce that March marked a significant achievement for Superior Recruitment Group—we were honoured with the FSB (Federation of Small Businesses) Award for Growth and Expansion! This prestigious recognition is a testament to our entire team’s dedication and hard work, and it fuels our passion for continuing to exceed expectations. Our team attended the awards evening at the stunning Wynyard Hall, where we collected our award in person. It was a great night to celebrate our growth.
March saw us strengthen our network through two successful HR Huddles, one held in Aberdeen and another in Sunderland. These events provided valuable platforms for local HR professionals to connect, share insights, and build lasting relationships. Our Aberdeen HR Huddle was hosted by guest speakers Susan Grayson, Founder and DE&I Consultant at Younique Inclusion and Mark Dalgarno, Recruiter at Motive Offshore Group, who gave our attendees fantastic insights on candidate-driven recruitment processes and menopause in the workplace. Our Sunderland HR Huddle guest speakers were the amazing Jude Daunt, CEO and Founder of the Unbreakable Mindset Academy, Julie Turnbull, Co-Founder at Activated Mindset and Faye Docherty, Head of Partnerships and Development at the Foundation Of Light. They covered a wide range of topics from general HR practices, to conflict resolution and determining what employers and employees value most within the workplace. We will continue to bring our HR Huddles to more venues across the UK this year and we can’t wait!
We were proud to attend the SmartWorks International Women’s Day, Smart Confidence event, demonstrating our commitment to empowering women in the workplace. We also created a collection for Smart Works with any old/unwanted workwear that the women in our office don’t have any use for anymore.
We are excited to announce Hospitality and Hope as our chosen charity. We’re dedicated to supporting this incredible organisation, which works tirelessly to support vulnerable individuals within our community. We also donated to their easter egg collection to help families across South Tyneside at a difficult time.
As part of neurodiversity celebration week, The Pledge South Tyneside hosted Rosie Brightly’s Neurodiversity in the Workplace workshop and we gained so much valuable knowledge that we can apply within the business.
We attended the OGV Renewables Energy Recruitment Fair at the Sandman Signature in Aberdeen which proves invaluable for aspiring professionals aiming to enter the energy sector. We had a great time showcasing our company and meeting new, like-minded professionals.
Mark received Employee of the Month for being on hand to help with any project thrown at him, particularly his help with CMS.
Sky received Team Player of the Month as she is always willing to help the team & on hand when needed.
Well done team!
March was filled with a lot of highlights for us here at Superior Recruitment and we can’t wait to see what April has install for us!
