February was a whirlwind of activity here at Superior Recruitment Group! We kicked off the month with a bang, got involved in incredible local events, invested in our team’s well-being, and even sprinkled in a bit of Valentine’s Day cheer. Read on to catch up on all the highlights.

We were thrilled to support the Tees Business VelociTees Awards, a celebration of the amazing businesses driving growth in the Tees area. Our team were treated to a two-course meal at the stunning Wynyard Hall and it was great to network with other thriving businesses. It was a lively atmosphere being sat on the same table as double winners, Wilton Engineering Group!
Networking with and supporting fellow members of the South Tyneside business community was a priority this month. We are proud members of The Pledge South Tyneside and we loved seeing how other businesses are helping the South Tyneside community. This was a great event for us as we established some connections that we are excited to feature in our March bulletin…watch this space!
We made waves at the Subsea Expo in Aberdeen, expanding our network and exploring the latest in industry innovation.
Every Wednesday, we’re committed to prioritising our health and well-being. This month, we brought in Cameron, our personal trainer, for dynamic workouts and enjoyed rejuvenating corporate, team massages from the talented ladies at ‘Forever Balanced’.
It wouldn’t be February without Valentine’s Day! Our marketing team surprised everyone with a special treat on their desks, boosting morale and reminding the team how much they’re valued. Our team celebrated February’s success in our executive box at the Stadium of Light and enjoyed a fabulous meal, some celebratory drinks and even watched some football (we won’t dwell on this as Sunderland did unfortunately lose…). We enjoy hosting these days out as they foster teamwork and positive relationships.
February was the month we took our first HR Huddle to America! We are delighted with how well this event went, gaining extremely positive feedback from all who attended. We will continue to grow our relationship with our US network throughout 2024 and continue to establish a great network.
We’re so proud of our Talent Acquisition Manager, Michelle, for launching her fantastic Learning & Development initiative. This exciting new programme will offer opportunities for all staff to upskill and reach their full potential.
