At Superior Recruitment Group we are passionate about giving back to the community.   In order to raise awareness and funds for 2 amazing charities, we have decided take part in the Macmillan Coffee Morning on 27th September and the CEO Sleep out on 18th November.

Macmillan Coffee Morning

We would like to invite any local businesses and clients to attend our coffee morning which will take place 9am -10am on 27th September at our offices in Washington, Tyne and Wear.

There will be an array of cakes and biscuits both homemade and bought (some of our team lack in cooking skills!), cakes, games and a prize draw.

Statistics show that there is now more than 2.5 million people in the UK living with cancer and in 2016 Macmillan estimate that 1.6 million people received personal, high impact support from one or more of their Macmillan professionals or services.  With a Macmillan nurse costing £29 per hour, this would equate to £30.6 million for only 1 hour of support during such a difficult time – this is why it is so important to raise as much as possible for a charity so close to everyone’s heart.

If you would like to attend, please contact Kirsty at  If you would like to take part but are unable to attend, you can donate via text message – please get in touch with Kirsty and she will give you instructions on how to do this.

CEO Sleepout

Lucy Galbraith, Andrew McLeod and Tom Wiper will be taking part in the CEO sleepout at Alnwick on 18th November.  Whilst the sleepout will take place at Alnwick Gardens, the team will be sleeping outside with only a sleeping bag as shelter from the cold winter elements in order to raise funds for those in the UK who do not have a warm bed to sleep in.

We hope to raise as much money as possible to help the homeless and those in poverty to have somewhere warm and comfortable to sleep and also help them to gain normality in their life again.  This is something that a lot of us will take for granted but homelessness is unfortunately becoming a growing problem in the UK every day.

It is estimated that there are at least 320,000 homeless people in Britain.  Despite efforts from the Government to end the homeless crisis and help those living on the poverty line, unfortunately funds just do not stretch far enough.  With your help we would like to take steps to help end this crisis and assist those in need at such a critical point in their life.
